Red, White and Blue Screening – Yes on Amendment 3!

  • Hi-Pointe Theatre 1005 McCausland Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63117 United States (map)

Join Missouri reproductive rights advocates on Tuesday, Oct 29th, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, just days before the November 2024 election, at the Hi-Pointe Theatre for a special screening of the Oscar-nominated short film Red, White, and Blue (23 min. runtime). This important film tells the story of an Arkansas woman seeking care in a state with a total abortion ban (just like Missouri) who must cross state lines in search of an abortion. This film is especially powerful as Missouri prepares to be the first state to overturn a total abortion ban and enshrine the right to reproductive healthcare into the MO Constitution on November 5th.

 Following the short film, attendees will:

– Hear from healthcare providers and lead strategists behind the Yes on Amendment 3 campaign for abortion rights;

– Enjoy an evening of engagement, activation and get out the vote efforts; and

– Be with friends as we all work together to restore reproductive healthcare and freedom in MO by passing Amendment 3 this November!

* We encourage you to bring a friend who is undecided on the issue to learn more!

** The first 100 guests to purchase a ticket will receive a YES ON 3 gift!

The event is co-hosted by Missourians for Constitutional Freedom, Access MO, Abortion Action Missouri, ACLU-MO, Ashrei Foundation, Central Reform Congregation, Congregation Shaare Emeth, Missouri Healthcare Professionals for Reproductive Rights, NCJWSTL, and Congregation B’nai Amoona.

More about the film: Red, White and Blue was written and directed by Nazrin Choudhury and stars Brittany Snow (Rachel) and Juliet Donenfeld (Maddy). When an unexpected pregnancy threatens to unravel her already precarious position, Rachel is forced to cross state lines in search of an abortion. As she contemplates the series of events that necessitated this journey and the obstacles placed in her path, we learn a heartbreaking truth that means her life will never be the same again.
