The Ashrei Foundation (“Ashrei” “we” or “us”) knows that every user (“you” or “your”) of the Internet is concerned about privacy, so we developed this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and disclose information about users of our website located at our domain, ashreifoundation.org (the “Site”). Ashrei exists to empower and activate the St. Louis community and partners throughout the state of Missouri to promote economic justice, relieve suffering and interrupt cycles of poverty.

By using the Site, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy. Each time you visit the Site and any time you voluntarily provide us with information, you agree that you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and you are consenting to receive emails or otherwise be contacted, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information that we collect about you is processed in the United States of America. You understand that laws in the jurisdiction where information is processed may be less stringent than the laws in the country where you live. By using this Site you acknowledge and accept that your information will be used in the United States of America and be subject to the privacy laws of the United States of America.

We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

Ashrei is committed to ensuring that your personal information is protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.  We have adopted physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  Whenever we collect sensitive information, such as credit card information provided for a donation, that information will be encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure manner.

We may retain your data so long as it remains relevant and necessary, unless a longer period of time is required by law. 

Third Party Websites and Providers

Throughout the Site, we may provide links to other websites. We take no responsibility for, and exercise no control over, the organizations, views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers. If you choose to access another website through a link we provide, we recommend that you read the individual policy statement of each website.

Ashrei may use various third-party social media features including but not limited to Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and other interactive programs. These providers may collect your IP address and require cookies to work properly. These services are governed by the privacy policies of the providers and are not within Ashrei’s control.

Minors

The Site is not intended for use by any minors of any age and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). 

Your Rights

If you wish to: (i) remove your personal information from Ashrei’s records, and/or (ii) discontinue or unsubscribe from any communications from Ashrei, please contact us with your request at info@ashreifoundation.org.

Text Messaging Service. Our nonprofit offers a text subscription service where users can receive updates, alerts, and information regarding our programs, initiatives, events, and more via text messages. To subscribe to our text messaging service, you must provide your phone number. By subscribing, you consent to receive text messages related to our activities, which may include updates and promotional content. Standard messaging rates may apply. You may opt-out of our text subscription service at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message received. If you need assistance or wish to modify your subscription, reply with "HELP" or contact us at info@ashreifoundation.org. Message frequency will vary depending on the type of updates and events. We will not send unsolicited or excessive messages, and we will respect your preferences. We respect your privacy. Any personal information (such as phone numbers) provided for text subscriptions will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see above). We do not share or sell your information to third parties.

Website. Our website provides information about our nonprofit’s mission, initiatives, and services. You agree to use our website in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
