Mini Volunteer Training: Document Teams

Through the North City Photo ID Project, the Ashrei Foundation offers assistance to Missouri residents by offering guidance on the process of applying for a Missouri non-driver photo identification card, including acquiring the required documentation. For many people, this means obtaining a certified copy of their birth certificate. The Ashrei Foundation will also cover the cost of obtaining this kind of ID and a birth certificate issued anywhere in the United States.

This training will prepare volunteers to support this project through the new Document Teams. Volunteers on the Delivery Team will coordinate meetings with individuals who have participated in the clinic in order to deliver their ID and/or birth certificate. Volunteers on the Pick-Up Team will arrange meetings at our office at the Hub for guests to pick-up their ID and/or birth certificates.
