From our partners at Empower Missouri:

For over 120 years Empower Missouri has brought together a team of anti-poverty advocates to learn together, make connections, and advance our mission. Our 2024 Anti-Poverty Advocates Summit will be held in at Stoney Creek Hotel in Columbia, Missouri on November 12th and 13th. You won’t want to miss it!

Attendees will receive training, support and inspiration to advocate on affordable housing, criminal legal system reform, food security, and other anti-poverty issues. We’ll have two amazing keynote presentations, from Andrea Elliott and Merideth Rose, and you’ll have access to workshops from local and national anti-poverty organizations, and coalition meetings to finalize policy agendas for the 2025 legislative session that starts in January. Together, we will use our voices to influence policy that will bring an end to poverty.

Ashrei Executive Director, Sara Ruiz will present with Christine Dragonette from our partners at College Church, on Photo ID Access as a Poverty Issue, Wednesday Nov 13, 12:45 - 2:00 pm
